Airsoft equipment
for film and media

Realistic replicas for films, music videos, commercials and photo shoots. Legal, professional-looking, suitable for any budget.

Airsoft replicas in film — why it works

Film production is a creative process where every detail matters. When a screenplay calls for weapon props — whether it is an action thriller, a war drama or a music video — producers face a dilemma: how to achieve a realistic appearance, crew safety and legal compliance.

The solution is simple: airsoft replicas. On camera they look exactly like real firearms, they have real weight, a realistic feel in hand — and they are completely legal sports equipment, requiring no weapons licence.

For Estonian film producers: Our rental fleet offers a wide selection of realistic replicas. We create individual solutions for each project — private individuals and production companies alike are equally welcome. Submit a request and we can discuss details.

Airsoft replicas for film production

What productions are airsoft replicas suitable for?

Feature films and short films

Films with action scenes — weapons, shooting, war themes — can use airsoft replicas. On camera they look exactly like real firearms, but are safe for the crew. No weapons permit, no police notification (except large-scale public outdoor filming), no complex regulations.

Music videos

Many music videos require powerful visual elements — the soldier image, tactical scenes, military aesthetics. Airsoft equipment provides this visual without legal restrictions.

Commercials and announcements

Defence companies, sporting events, tactical games and other advertisers use airsoft replicas in their marketing materials. Professionally filmed advertising requires professional props — and that is exactly what we offer.

YouTube content creation

YouTube channels covering military history, tactical simulations or high-performance video use airsoft replicas. Content creators can build a channel with realistic-looking content without the complications of real firearms.

Photo shoots and PR photography

Fashion photography, military themes, tactical fitness — all these fields use airsoft replicas in photo shoots. On camera a replica looks identical to the original but is safe to use.

What we offer for film projects

AEG replicas — in various styles

Electric automatic replicas available in various designs: assault rifle style, carbine, compact SMG. All have realistic construction and a convincing feel in hand.

GBB replicas — maximum realism

Gas blowback replicas are the best choice for films requiring full realism. The GBB fires identically to a real weapon — the bolt moves, magazines drop freely, blank rounds can be fired.

Pistols and short replicas

Both AEG and GBB pistols available. A pistol is often the most effective prop in a film — manageable, quickly drawn and visually clear on screen.

Tactical gear — complete look

Replicas are only part of the film production requirements. We also offer: tactical vests and body armour (MOLLE system), helmets and helmet covers, goggles and face masks, gloves and other accessories.

Practical tips for film producers

Camera angle and replica selection

Airsoft replicas look best from certain camera angles. Extreme close-ups may reveal subtle differences — such as the orange safety tip or certain material textures. Our consultation explains which replicas provide the most realistic visual.

Covering the orange safety tip

Many airsoft replicas are sold with an orange safety tip. For filming, it can be covered with black paint (spray) or gaffer tape. This is completely legal when using rented props for filming, but equipment must be restored to its original condition before return.

Muzzle flash effects and CGI

Airsoft replicas fire BB pellets, which are not visible on camera. Muzzle flash effects are added in post-production, delivering the complete cinematic result.

Safety on set

Safety rules must be followed even on film sets. We recommend: all crew members wear eye protection during active filming; only experienced persons handle replicas outside direct shooting moments; safety is engaged between takes.
