Airsoft equipment rental — what we offer

Filmi Rent specialises in airsoft replica and tactical gear rental for professional film productions, video producers, photographers and media houses. Our rental fleet includes a wide selection of replicas from various historical periods and style classes.

The rental process is simple: describe your project, we recommend suitable equipment, and agree on pickup and return time and place. We work flexibly with both one-day and multi-week projects.

Available equipment

AEG electric replicas

Electric automatic replicas are the most widely available. Available in various designs: assault rifle style, carbine style, SMG style, fully tactical configuration with optics and accessories.

GBB gas blowback replicas

GBB replicas are film producers' favourites for their maximum realism. The bolt carrier moves exactly like real firearms during firing — this gives actors a real recoil sensation and makes the filmed material extremely convincing.

Pistols and short replicas

In films and photo shoots, a pistol is often the most effective prop. It is easy to handle, visually clear in frame and works for both close-ups and wide shots. We offer multiple pistol types to suit your film's period and style requirements.

Tactical gear and accessories

Replicas are only part of the film production prop requirement. We also offer: tactical vests and body armour (MOLLE system), helmets and helmet covers, protective goggles and face masks, tactical gloves, magazine pouches and accessories.

The rental process — step by step

1. Submit a request

Fill in our contact form describing your project: type of film/video, when filming takes place, how many replicas you need, what scenes are planned. The more detail you provide, the more precise and useful the response you will receive.

2. Consultation and equipment selection

We respond within one business day. We identify exact requirements and recommend suitable equipment. If needed, we can also arrange a video call to show available replicas and discuss project details.

3. Equipment handover

We agree on handover time and location — either from our location in Loksa or Tallinn Harku, or by arrangement delivery to your filming location. At handover, we provide a complete briefing on equipment handling and safety.

4. Use in project

You use the equipment in your project for the agreed period. We are available by phone if questions arise. For GBB replicas, we ensure there is sufficient gas for the entire project.

5. Return

You return the equipment at the agreed location and time, in the same condition you received it. Equipment is checked together with you. Any damage is recorded and discussed.

Practical tips for filming

Camera angle and replica selection

Airsoft replicas look best from certain camera angles in frame. Extreme close-ups may reveal subtle differences — orange safety tip, plastic texture. Our consultation explains which replicas give the most realistic visual for your specific project.

Covering the orange safety tip

Many airsoft replicas come with an orange safety tip from the factory. For filming, it can be covered with black paint (spray) or gaffer tape. This is completely legal when using rented props for filming, but the equipment must be restored to its original condition before return.

Muzzle flash effects and CGI

Airsoft replicas fire BB pellets that are not visible on camera. Muzzle flash effects are added in post-production, delivering the complete cinematic result.
